My hope is to assist you in exploring issues, both present and past, which are causing anxiety, depression and pain in your life in order to have a positive impact on your well-being. The counseling process encourages a path for self-discovery by helping you to:

  • talk in a safe environment
  • understand the origins of fear, anger, self- doubt, grief and needs
  • stop self-destruction
  • learn an internal voice of self-compassion and encouragement
  • face new challenges
  • increase self-worth
  • set intentions and define goals
  • communicate more effectively
  • believe in your own resiliency

Therapy progresses at a pace that respects your readiness to tackle issues of importance to you. Some people work for a few months and others, for a few years, while some end for a while and come back later. There is no right amount of time to be here, except what is right for you. I look forward to meeting you and working with you to achieve your goals. Together we will create a therapeutic toolbox to relieve pain and develop healthier coping strategies.
